Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey, 93%

  • 1 Yellow Onion, diced

  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, diced

  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced

  • 2 cups Beef Broth

  • ½ cup Ketchup

  • ¼ cup Mustard 

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Orzo

  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

  • Pickles for garnish 


Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, sauté onion and bell peppers for 5 minutes. Add turkey, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook until turkey is cooked through. 

  2. Add beef broth, ketchup, mustard, and orzo. Stir. 

  3. Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and cook for 15 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed. 

  4. Add cheese and combine. 

  5. Place pickles on top and serve!
